Am considering an overnight offshore trip leaving mid morning Sunday from Hampton Saltponds and returning early afternoon Monday. Looking for crew willing to share expenses. Tuna, tiles, and swords are the target. Will make weather call on Saturday. Reply back or give me a call if interested. Experience would be helpful or we can all learn together by doing.

If anyone else is thinking the same, a buddy boat would be nice too.

My thinking is around noon but it depends on what the crew wants to do and how loopy we are come Monday morning. If the crew wanted to stop and pick up some spades at the tower on the way in I'd be cool with that too.

Bob, yea you've been putting in some good bluewater time lately. My boat has been in for maintenance for 3 weeks so I need a fix. I sure would like to find them eyeballs like you did.

nike we have been tossing up the idea of doing an overnighter on sat night, but the latest forecast does look better on sunday night. if it changes and the warmr water moves in we may consider it, but as of now, i think that we may hold off to another weekend till we get a warming water from the east. we got no bites on the swords two weeks ago, but did get into the yft's. right now i think the water looks much better down south, but i am no expert. i think that the fingers to the canyon would be my choice if i wanted to deep drop and sword fish over night. good luck either way. i will let you know if we go this weekend.

Casey, you can always crew up with me this weekend. Still have a couple of spots open but no experienced hos yet.

THANKS MIKE, BUT I GOT EVEN MORE SLAMMED AT WORK TODAY AND I THINK I AM GOING TO HAVE TO WORK, BUT I WOULD LOVE TO GO SOMETIME. I'LL KEEP IN TOUCH. I HAVE TO GO UP TO DC TUES AND WED. MY FATHER-INLAW IS RETIRING AND THERE IS A BIG PARTY THAT I CAN'T MISS, SO I HAVE TO PLAY CATCHUP. MAYBE WE CAN GET SOME WATER FROM THE EASST FOR NEXT WEEKEND.

I would love to go but I have my one weekend a month duty with the Air Force. If you plan on any other dates and need a person just shoot me an e-mail or give me a call. I have been dying to do an overnighter for a long time.
