My sister came up from Florida to visit so I decided to leave work a little early and make the run to the light tower for some spade action. A little rough of a ride from Hampton, but worth it. First time in a while actually fishing for them as I have gotten into spearing them the last couple years. Caught more than we could handle. They were a real nice class of spades as well. Not too many boats. Maybe 10 or so. Seas calmed down for a nice ride home.

Met a spade newby at the tower yesterday. I did all I could to help them out. They said they were on their way in from offshore. I gave them a half dozen clams, a couple rigs of my rods and a pack of hooks, maybe thats why the fish gods were good to me.. Forget the name of the boat but it was from jupiter Fla.
