Well I finally did it. Took M's Pride offshore out about 45 miles. Weather was great with a light wind. Trolled a 4 line spread of a green/chart hair daisy chain, B/W jet head, Cedar plug, Blue/Pink Popper, and B/W daisy chain rigged w/Beads. Water temp was about 68.6 most of the morning and could seem to find a good temp break.... Set lines and trolled the edge of the fingers till about 2PM with no luck. So I pulled lines to head to the CLT for a little pullage on Spades. We managed 10 nice Spade ranging from 15 to 19" largest weighing in at 8lbs. Even with no offshore bite it was a successfull trip for myself and visiting family members. I'll just have to get them next time. Ended the day back at Owl's creek going about 135 miles and a half tank of gas left over. 112 Gal Gas tank.
