Full Version: any tuna at the meat cleaver ?

Im a first year tuna fisherman . Fishing on a 25 ft stamas cc. Does anybody know short run tuna holes. thanks smile.gif smile.gif java script:emoticon(':)')

not yet anyway ....

places to get your "feet wet" around here are the hot dog, southeast lumps, and the 26 mile hill. those are all good intermediate locations that are in your striking range.

we have also caught bluefins at the fish hook, but that was a long time ago, and from what i have heard, has not been that productive of late.

Concur with Bo. The Hot Dog is an easy run, usually holds big Bluefish early with Tuna. It's a mixed blessing or a curse, lots of action at times, but the Blues tear through a lot of bait/lures. Sometimes they don't bother you. Good luck, Buddy Up when you head out for a little more confidence and safety. food-smiley-004.gif
