I know the spade fish are hot, I know cobia is another fish out there to go after.
We do well with the croaker, (we are looking for the bigger ones).

I'll be watching all post to see what is being caught, But
What else is out there to target, and, What is there to look forward to in the next couple of summer mouths.
I am new to boat Bay fishing, and am just looking for more ideas for what to go after/ target.

Are the spadefish only hot at the CLT or has anyone caught them at the CBBT yet?

We are getting there, Sue my #1 Mate and I had a pretty cool day for us. (Maybe not for some of Ya'll)
At the hrbt, something took our cutbait rig, Sue was fighting it, ran ran ran, I hurryed up front and pulled up the anchor, caused she was almost spooled.
we backed down on it and she got line back, It was pretty cool. Finely saw what it was, big skate, Bummer, but it was exciting .
We fished the hrbt/mmbt, end up with 37 croaker we fillet, no 3 pounders, but about 8 2pounders, and 2 blues 2 lb+, and 1 flounder throwback.

Just want to say thanks to everyone for sharing what they know and helping us who ask questions about Bay Fishing.
