Hey Eric,
We saw you out there yesterday on the other side of CLT. We did pretty well - mostly 4-5 pounders. Hope you did too. Good luck tomorrow. We're going to try to get back out there Thursday or Friday.

We did pretty well, took 8 home and released a citation. It was action packed.

Hey Everyone!

Just wanted to give a shout to everyone. I'm from King George, VA and coming to VA beach Friday to try some spades. Hopefully mother nature will have mercy on our 21ft boat!

Hey Eric,

What time you plan to head out? The wife and I were planning to head out but if you have room for 2, we might tag along...

What size MWR boat?

Another option is to ask on this board for a ride out, might get a better ride out.

You need new batteries huh? I caught a paper Spade last year and the guys scale on the boat fluctuated between 9.5 and 8.5, on the beach he hit 9.1.

Alot of big fish this year, alot more making release size too. My 9#er last year was only 20 inches, if I remember right, the 14#ers last year were only 23 inchers. I guess spade hold their weight differently fish to fish.

I can attest to that...Last week I caught one 22 in that weighed 9.5 the next day and a 23.5 weighed 8.5
