we caught 20 fish at 5 km released all we boated how ever there were people there that boated and turned in fish. As you know only 10 fished were weighed on day one and then on day two over a 1000 lbs were weighed in. In the intrest of the charity I will remain silent or keep it on the square as we say but I learned a vaulable lesson on this one. We had a great time and the weather was beatuiful. Never got in water warmer than 40 on day one and found some 42 sunday south of the inlet where everybody else was. My buddy Harry Burrows told me the water was at hatteras andhe claimed 2nd place.

I also read on another message board that some boats were well out of the three mile limit. "Mr. Hooter" even chased after some boats and called others out on the first days weigh in. It is pretty sad that some decide to cheat and bend the rules in a charity event.
