I certainly hope their insurance company is not the same one I had when Fran came thru in '96.
Looks like it happened at the dock. Hope all escaped with their life.
I was onboard a boat that caught fire while underway when I was in my teens. Not a fun day. It was the maiden voyage for the boat, a brand new custom 36' wooden hull northeastern picnic boat. She burned to the waterline. Luckily we were not far from shore and all made it to the hard safely. The hull was towed back to the builder's rail, hauled out and rebuilt two foot longer. The second go around she was deisel powered though. That was near 25 years ago and she's still wonderful craft.
