Today we had an open boat and we welcomed some local all stars aboard including Ray Heim of the infamous Ray's Parachutes and MOJO's of VA Beach, Capt. Steve "THE Professor" Wray, Mark Shinn, veteran Pat O'Donnell, and a couple of newbies. We all wanted to try some deep sea wreck fishing and hopefully catch some tasty Black Sea Bass.
The weather conditions were excellent with relatively calm seas and winds. We lost yesterday's party to gusty winds and high seas. The fishing was excellent today, as we spanked 150 keeper Black Sea Bass ranging from 3- 6 pounds. The take over barrage by the Dog Sharks and Conger Eels continues, but the Black Sea Bass catching was torrid.
