Hey brother sorry to hear your still having problems. Like I told ya on the phone I had a bad time with my 04 angler. I finally had to sell it back to the dealer. The only way he would do that though was if I bought another boat from him. I had to research his other brands and found one I thought would be good to me. So far so good’ maybe you could find another Angler dealer that would be a little more responsible. I don’t recommend Rivercraft in Glouster. I tried lawyers and letters to the company but they told me "you didn’t buy anything directly from us so we don’t owe you anything" and fellas that is a direct quote. The lifetime warranty doesn’t mean much now does it?? It’s a bad mess and if there is any way I can help just let me know. I am learning so much here that I visit every night and just hope one day I will be able to share a little of what I have learned.

Call the Angeler headquarters ask for the president tell him what is happening.I bet he will rattel their cage.They could lose their franchise for treating you like that.

Maybe we should start a poll say how do you rate your dealer . Maybe not, big brother (vsfb) might have guide lines for these things but Im all for stirring the sh$$ up . I know how long it took to even cosider that much money for a damn house so lets go get im

I can’t speak for recovery but I bought my Angler from Rivercraft Marine in Hayes VA. I had nothing but problems with the boat and Yamaha 4 stroke. I would put the boat in Sat. morning and by Sat. evening it would be back at the shop. Electrical problems, cracks, pumps not working, canvas coming apart, motor not coming out of gear, idling at 3 grand. Rivercraft would call tell me it was ready, I then would ride 30 minutes to get the boat and half the items on the list weren’t touch. When I called Angler and spoke to the pres. I was told, and I quote “you didn’t buy anything from us so we don’t have any responsibility to you." I have big problems with Rivercrafts service dept. Even with my new boat, I paid $110 for it, I WON’T take it back to them for service. I would rather carry it to Florida. I feel for recovery I went to lawyers, the BBB and the company itself and was basically told there wasn’t a lot I could do.

I had 2004 22 angler and had so many problems in 3 moths. I had to sell it back to the dealer under threat of lawsuit. They bought it back but only if I bought another boat. I am trying the 30 concept out now. So far so good.

If they had another brand of boat I wanted I would change it, heck now I wish I would of spent another 20,000 and bought a GRADY I know they back their boats.

UNBELIEVABLE!!! I got a call from Oscar at Angler Boats today, he said "next delivery of boats in the area he'll pick up mine and take it back to the factory and fix all the warranty stuff!!!.” I told him I needed it back by April 10th for the start of the bay season. So I'm going to be without a boat at least until then.

IF ANYBODY NEEDS A FISHERMAN TO GO WITH AND HELP OUT WITH COST LET ME KNOW!!!!!!!!! donmartin1_9@msn.com

I will have to ask my Lawyer if the Lemon law applies to boats.

Wonder if the negative advertisement on this thread prompted them into action or they just had a change of heart? Hope you get your boat up and running and have no more problems.. It is very frustrating to pay the price boats go for today and then have problems.

I dont know why,But i think its because he's trying quiet me down I had it out with dealer, I've been calling everyday.
He said it would take about 2 weeks to fixs the boat once he gets it. I'm a member of Boat US they have a CONSUMER PROTECTION BUREAU that I"m going to contact ,also web site is BoatUS.com/consumer that will help deal with
boat and motor purchases ph# is 703-461-2856
But once Anglers done the dealer will still need to hook-up the radar!!!
Looking forward to having this all behind me so I can enjoy some pullage!!!!!!!
