Wanted to do a little scouting around today before I dicided to make the long trip south. Picked up some small blues off the ocean front for AJ bait and went out to some inshore wrecks where I proceded to feed live bait to sharks bump trolling around the wrecks. Decided to try some squid on bottom rigs for some seabass and managed a couple keeper sized fish before I called it a day.

forgot to mention a couple more things. Had really clean water about 6 miles off the beach, dock hand at the fishing center said dolphin had been caught in the CLT area. I also trolled drone spoons back in to the dirty water without a single hit.

We bailed a dolphin within sight of CLT this time last year too.

Good news for small boats.
