Hey guys.... I'm fairly new to the forums, but not new to fishing.... I've only been offshore once looking for bluefin tuna that my dad used to catch back in the early 80's...... I think he bought the 22ft aquasport to try and capture the good old days when he used to run out after tuna on an 18ft sportscraft.... Anyway, he's too old and out of shape to try and get me out there now.... I went out to the CLT a couple of times after the trip I took with my old man, and that was fun, but I'm trying to get into some tuna.... I have no problem throwing down a few hundred in gas, and paying my way in bait, or anything else we have to get.... We were trolling old cedar plugs that he had since the late 70's and didn't do any good..... I've got some of his old 4o and 6o penn setups with rollers all the way down the rod, but I'm sure they're obsolete now..... Anyway, I'm out in Great Bridge.. About 25 minutes from owl's creek/rudy inlet....... Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated......
Thanks
