Need your advice! Going fishing at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge tunnel bridge. What bait do I use? What's biting? What pound test line should I use?

Lures working? What type? Can you tell I'm new at this? How about some help from you pros. Much appreciated guys!
havn't been out there in a while, but check in the pier section of this forum. Seagull Pier is great because its 3 miles out into the bay. You'll never know what you might find out there. i would and normally do use an assortment of baits. bloodworms, squid, cut bait, if i catch small spot or croaker ill throw them on and drift them with a ballon or use a fish finder rig. i wouldn't go with less then 20lb line, that way if you do catch something decent you can pull it up. unless you have a pier net, then its just easier.
good luck and tight lines.
