hey there!!! whats up with the fishing at the lesner bridge??? are there any flounder or stripper hitting there?? i saw 7 boats roped off on the 4th but it looked like no one was hitting any thing.. what about at night,any good fishing there in the night time......

You can catch some croaker and pigfish around there. Personally, I do not waste my time around there. Tried numerous rigs and techniques and not enough action to keep trying. Fish the tennis courts in Lynnhaven inlet, you can catch some nice flounder and some croaker, spot, and blues.

I agree with the above replies. Fishing that area is best done from the shore. I have had no success on my boat.

From dockside inn, head south about 100 yards to the "split" to the left of this is the famed tennis court. I have never seen anyone playing on it but it is a good reference point. Lots of flounder!!!!!!!!
