Just an update on fishing in the NAS and PLO area. Caught >50 croaker with bloodworm Tuesday and 17 spot. Was a real busy night. Threw them all back but kept an early one in the live basket b/c it was a 14 incher...later released b/c I had hopes of getting more in that size range. No such luck...mostly 8 - 10 inchers. The Potomac on Monday evening was productive on catfish using bound liver to keep it together. The river produced 13 cats ranging from 8 to 17 1/2 inches. All released. Any other reports welcomed, I'll probably try Assateague to try something different. The big question is to suspend the live bait or let cut bait lay on the bottom...suggestions welcomed.
