If I go out of rudy, do I have to run to the canyon to get into the tuna,
Besides bluefish,at the fingers what else can I target and go after without running to the canyon.
We just got back from Hatterus, (thur 4pm) don't want to run back Sat if we don't have to, to fish offshore.
But don't want to waste my time, coming out of rudy,, (I don't want to run to the canyon, ) if I can't catch anything up here.
Thanks

Thanks for asking, Thats what I would like to have an idea about,
I just read all the reports, and it appears that most boats are running out to the canyon, and I was thinking thats the only place to find them out of rudy.
they seem to have left the 80+ degree waters of hatteras.
Thanks for all advice
Jack

Congrats on her first dolphin! I know that made the trip worth while. I'll be missing this weekend but we plan on going next weekend and possibly spending the night. Probably go to Hatteras for dolphin/bottom fish.

Some guys will pass up bluewater fishing grounds and go straight to the canyon. Sunday we will probably sit down somewhere near the fingers and pull baits and listen to the radio.
