Fish Dad
Had a couple of crew back out so I'm now short a couple of crew for a Saturday / Sunday overnighter trip offshore. I suspect Saturday is going to be a parking lot out there which could put the fish down so I plan to fish against the traffic flow. Plan is to depart saltponds inlet in Hampton at 1 pm on Saturday and return about 1 pm on Sunday. Plan would be to troll for tuna around the Norfolk Canyon Saturday afternoon/evening, setup for possible swords at night, then troll again at first light Sunday. We can bottom bounce for tiles if the crew has the desire. If anyone is interested in crewing up with me, give me a shout.

I guess the wives don't like to give out kitchen passes for fishing all weekend too often. This is how a typical conversation goes with many guys (especially my co-workers). biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Me - Going offshore on an overnighter this weekend, are you interested?

Crew - Heck yea...let me call home and I'll get right back to you.

Now I suspect it's kind of like that show on ESPN, You wanna Go Fishing. Honey, my mother is visiting this weekend, you can't go fishing all weekend with her in town. sad.gif sad.gif

Crew - sad-smiley-054.gif Sounding depressed -- I can't go. tongue.gif tongue.gif

BTW - The tuna are here.

Mike,

Don't know you but I wouldn't mind going out to the ledges sometime. Nice website you have online. Great pictures.
