Anyone entered in or going to the Tred Barta Billfish Tournament in Beaufort on the 27th and 28th?

Tred Barta is THE MAN!!! ok maybe second behind Jose Wajebe but its a close second.

I can't believe that no one is interested in the worlds greatest living deep sea fisherman. A man who has caught swordfish and sailfish on 8lb test. Who has killed wild boar with only a knife. A man who once killed a flying mallard with a hand made bow and wooden flint tip arrows. We should all aspire to be like him. Not to mention that the tournament is to benefit needy children.

Just kidding guys -- the guy is good but im just messing with yall. Dont get your feathers too ruffled.

That is a really great tournament. Team Still think'n contributed 5 percent of our winnings from the OI Tuna Tournament to the Barta boys and girls club. He's actually fishing the tournament down there and raffled off a crew to fish with him already....should be a great time and a great cause...Bob

It is one of those tourneys I want ot fish in before I kick the bucket. great cause and great fishing.

I was unable to find any info on what the entry fee was. I agree it would be a good one to fish before one expires.
