My boat has 3 boxes in the bow how long should they be for tuna and dolphin

just tring to see if i need to get a large ice chest instead

the Dimensions are

center box
46 LONG X 24 Wide in the back ( 18 wide in the front) X 13 deep

the 2 side boxes are

37 X 14 X 14

Bow Boxes beat the hell out of your fish.I would get a big Igloo and put them in the back.

You can store your ice in the bow and as your put fish in the igloo, add ice from your boxes. Put Tuna in the igloo, and dolphin up front if you had to. Tuna is more fragile meat than dolphin.

Sams club, good deal on big igloo. 70 bucks for 140 qt

Wal-Mart has the 188 qt. marine cooler with double door lid for $78.00. I carry one of these & a 48qt'er for bait. I load the built in fishboxes for carrying ice, they aren't big enuff fer a Tooona but doo well carrying ice.

I've got a basically brand new igloo that my dad got from boat us a few years back.. I know it was the biggest one we could find, and I think it was the biggest one igloo makes.... We've only put one fish in it, and you could never tell that.. Has a snap on cusion with rope/wood handles.. All in mint condition...... I'm sure he wouldn't mind parting with it being we don't have the boat any more..... It's definitely big enough to fit tuna I've seen posted on this site... All white including the cusion.. Not sure the qt..... It's about 2ft wide, thigh high, and around 4ft. long...
