What do you guys think of the weather this tomorrow and saturday. The intellicast wind forecast looks like 5 to 10 out of the south. The marine forecast predicts higher winds and seas. What do you guys think? Which one do you guys believe the most? Thanks John

I've promissed my young nephew to take him out this week and damned if I can figure it out myself, the little bugger must think his Uncle John is shirking his uncle duties.......it seems to change every 4-6 hours as far as I can tell....

A review of the 72 hour aviation forecast seems to pretty-well coincide with the NOAA marine forecast.
Friday will be dominated by a relativly weak high, generating a forecast SW wind of 10-15 knots. Friday evening, a shallow low will sit on top of Va Beach stirring things up a bit, but still holding a forecast of 15 knots. The low will move to the northeast by Saturday night and is forecast to begin to deepen and intensify Saturday evening, with a more substantial deeping on Sunday. A new high will follow Saturday's low, to the west of our area and its clockwise rotation will combine with the low's counter-clockwise rotation to produce a pretty breezy day on Sunday, which may be very difficult to fish.
Friday and Saturday are definitly the best shot.
Please note this is an amature forecasting the weather. So proceed at your own risk. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif
