Full Version: Stripers In VA
Virginia Beach Sport Fishing > VBSF.net Sport Fishing Forums > Chesapeake Bay & Coastal Waters to 15 miles (Ocean City MD to Hatteras NC)

Copied this from Virgina Beach Fishing Center website. Anybody trying???????

The weather is not cooperating with us today... the wind is too high and the seas too rough. It looks like we are going to let those Striper hang out another day... but we will be back at it again tomorrow.

If you did not see the report from yesterday, the fish are back in Virginia! Our boats were catching them starting at the Virginia-NC line all the way up around 55th street. And again, the sizes were huge! Every boat that went out had a great catch. We are hoping the weather will shape up for the weekend. We will keep the latest posted!

It is great that the Stripers are on there way back North!! I was wondering if I am reading the VA. regs. correctly? "MD. saltwtaer license is recipricated"; including ocean out to three miles.

Thanks Cool Breeze,

You look like quite the fisherman from your pictures. (Awesome)

It is rather tempting to come down on Sat and chase them some before they come up the Bay.

Treked all the way down to Corolla light looking for bait and birds. Best bait we marked was at CH and Rudee but it wasn't much so we didn't stop. Ended up fishing CH on the way back late in the afternoon around the green can. Picked up a nice 31 and a 27 throw back. Lost a nice fish on a stretch as well.
Report from Sat.
