Okay folks, I went out Saturday of the 3rd Island to do some spade fishing. Brought the tackle for just that..... Little did I predict the numbers of schooling reds rolling through! Massive groups of 20 to 40 at a time. I watched boats beside me targeting them all day. There adverage were 40 and 50 inches! Would not believe it if I hadn't seen it myself. I am goin again this coming weekend and bringing the big sticks! If anyone else decides to go try... bring a couple buddies and some back to pull them into the boat for pics. Large white bucktails, Sassy Shads or 4" to 6" white grubs were killing them Sat. Good luck!

I saw them too...they were both reds and blacks....

They were Yellow...

ya we got a few blacks wendsday biggest 1 was 56" all i seen were black drum huge shcools of them there all over the rock !!!!!

You guys be careful now. Those are Ultraviolet drum and it's a well kept charter secret that you can catch them by casting lures! (Sorry Ron!)
