Do you think it's time to bouy hop or still chum? I plan on going Saturday.

what are some of the main buoys that you go to when you are bouy hopping. We chumed the other day and caught one small one that we had to release.

Yesterday, ran the CB line, the CLT buoys, fished the hustler with live bait, the CLT with live bait and ran the NC buoys......no cobes. Stick to chummin.

chum till 10 or 1030 then Bouy hop. but in the bay unless the water is real clear and no real cloud cover it may be a waste.
I have caught very few running the bouys in the bay.
thats just my opinion

I think I'm gonna head to the Bluefish Rock area or York Spit. Hopefully I'll be there around 8:45 with a livewell full of spot and croaker.

no luck on the cobes today...chummed around bluefish rock on the outgoing tide...gonna try flounder tommorow and check some bouys
