Going out on the Chesapeake Bay on Sunday for the first time. are there any areas to stay clear of other than in the middle of the channel, and are there any good holes to pull some good size fish out of. Will be around the CBBT

spade fish are great at the 4th island put a #2 or 4 red hook below about 4 foot of flourcarbon leader with a split shot and bobber with a peice of clam or clam snout and wait for the line to go tight SPADE ON have fun fighting them on the 4th island get up in the hole were the rocks curve in you will see alot of boats there good luck

When the tide slacks and if you're boat is small enough fish around the ocean side bridge pilings just to the VB side of the first island and the eastern shore side of the 4th for flounder. Best to use a 3 way or fish finder rig with either live spot, croaker, menhaden, or a long(6"+ . . . bigger bait = bigger fish) strip bait like squid, croaker fillet or cut blue fish with or with out a minnow. Really good around slack tide. Keep a tight line on it though its rocky down there.
Good Luck Jeep
