I have fished the fall and winter for Stripers, I have yet to fish for them in the spring. Any difference in the tactics, lures or locations?

it depends how big you want em

Last year in late May, we casted storms for em' at the 2nd Island. Did pretty good, but the guy next to us was anchored using live bait (croaker, trout) and had one on every time. Jighead with cut bait worked well too. Same day we had a 10 lb gray trout and my buddy released a Huge black drum, never forget it.
Mega Bite
Live baiting is fun I might do it for a change of pace.

IN THE SPRING YOU CAN STILL CATCH THEM ON ARTIFICIALS BUT YOU CAN DO WELL WITH LIVE OR CUT BAIT TOO. ANY 4-6 INCH BAIT FISH YOU CAN KEEP ALIVE ON YOUR HOOK. CUT MENHADEN OR SQUID WORK WELL IN THE SPRING TOO AND YOU WILL PICK UP SOME FLOUNDER THIS WAY TOO. GIVE UP THE SQUID WHEN THE CROAKER COME IN THOUGH.

Any location where I can throw my cast net to get live bait, I will be heading out of little creek to the bridge?

The best place to go fishing all year....

where the fish are, there's no better place.

The best time to go and catch 'em....

when they're biting, you'll get 'em every time.

The only place you should ever try to catch 'em...

in the mouth, makes 'em much easier to land.

Thats right. The only fishing advice you'll ever need.

LAST SUNDAYS PAPER SAID THAT THE FALL SEASON WILL MORE THAN LIKELY BE 22 INCHES- SO THIS SPRING WILL BE THE LAST OF THE 18 INCH RULE !!
