Looking at the weather reports and thinking about starting at the Cigar on Sunday. First time offshore this year on my boat and would like to have some buddy boats on the VBSF roster to call. Leaving OC around 4:30ish. Any other boats going to be in the area? Fin Stoked.

We'll be out on Billable Ours. i think Rockin Robin is making her first trip out after her face-lift as well. We''re leaving from Little Creek and I think Rockin Robin will be from Rudee.

Wirebender fished the east side of the Cigar yesterday and got a 40 pound Wahoo and a 20 pound mahi. Said there were big weed patches.

We'll see you out there.

I'm leaving Saturday afternoon and will overnight east of the cigar so should be out there Sunday am. Give me a shout maybe I can point you in the right direction.

Fish Dad,

What channel do you monitor? Good luck on the overnighter!

Mixed feelings about where to go, but still have faith in the temp break east of the Cigar/Wx Bouy. Reports of Billfish at Wayne's World 450 line, so will talk it through in the morning. Gut feel is east of the Wx Bouy between 50 and 500 Fathom lines.
On 79/80
Good luck and tight lines.

Unfortunately at the 11th hour I had a curve ball thrown with a 3.5 month old baby at home. I will now be starting later and will be inshore for Kings off False Cape with a start around 9:00. Man, I really thought it was going to be the day... The conditions look really good. Billable, Good Luck to you guys! Looking forward to hearing your report. biggrin.gif
