Some friends went out yesterday and caught a few small mahi and what they said was a baracuda. I haven't seen it but thay all swear by it. They said it hit first thing as they were putting lines out. I thought maybe they confused it with a mackerel but I don't know. Anyone ever heard of them around here. They said they started in near the fingers then worked towards the weather buoy. There were patches of grass but they didn't raise much.

Cudas definitely inhabit these waters.

The state record was caught by a friend off of a bouy at the CB line.

We hooked a few in late July. I had no idea they were here either.
