A quick question that has me wondering... Is there any particular water temp that stripers prefer for the bite? I know with other fish this is important, but was wondering if it even mattered with rocks. I know if its too cold they wont bite, but Ive never really paid attention to the finder when we were catching fish. I am thinking of heading out of Rudee on sat if it doesnt rain and will probably head south to the state line. Any other spots anyone recommends? CH?
Mega Bite
Some of the largest Striper I have ever caught have been in 42 Deg. A lot of charts say 45 to 55 but I think they will go lower if the Baitfish are plentiful.I have caught them in 39 deg water but not as many.
