  5. Today, we had quite the day. The flounder were snapping and the spades were plentiful. We started out Trolling for Spanish &blues. It was a little slow, but we got a few blues for bait & off we went looking for more action. We fished the rest of the day &I caught a ton of spades. Those little guys were everywhere! Flounder were syeady with 6me being keepers. We saw menhaden all over, so we started to troll through them when we landed ourselves in the middle of thousands of rays. Capt Steve was looking for a cobia as I was getting the go pro situated. Steve yells cobia! So I got on the bow, eel ready to cast. It took a while to find yje cobia, we actually see 2! I cast the eel right between them & they both go for it....Fish On! I ran the rod back to our angler &I the fight was on. Since the camera was ready, I had Ethan, the young man on the trip film it. Enjoy! The foah weighed in around 40# Here's the link. It's unedited but great footage.

  9. hold on to the skippies!!great deep drop bait & if you get into the bailers, it's awesome!!! if you get into a bunch, at least keep a couple, hell, give me a shout & I'll come get them back at the dock. We go deep dropping all the time.
  10. Offshore waters are producing impressive bigeye tuna and billfish catches. Offshore bottom dropping is producing nice blueline tilefish. Amberjack are at the southern towers, ready to eat any live bait dropped to them. Spadefish are available at the Chesapeake Light Tower and Reef and at the CBBT. Big sheepshead are being caught at the CBBT. A lot of cobia out there. Red drum are still available on the shoals at the mouth of the bay. Most are being caught while sight-fishing for cobia. Sight fishermen are also running into some large jack crevalle in the bay. Spanish mackerel fishing is excellent along the ocean front and in the lower bay. Flounder are being caught in all the summertime flounder spots with the largest coming from the CBBT. Call and book your trip today! View Our Website
