Saltwater Bait Boat!!

Recommended Posts

I'll be honest with you...I don't understand it, WTF does it do??? :glare:

Well, you put your bait in the hatch if it's small enough, and it can take out 1000 meters for you... You could be on the beach and drag a king rig out further than you could get it on the pier............. That's WTF it does for you..... Too expensive, but a great idea though.... Everything is practical about it accept maybe the price..................

OHHH, so you don't have to cast it!! Right? It just lets go of the bait whenever you want it to...?

Yeah, you either put the bait in the hatch, and when you get it out to where you want it just give the line a tuge and the hatch comes open releasing your bait. It's also got a clip for dragging live bait rigs behind it... You know, if you're in the surf and want to get a live bait rig out there you certainly can't cast it out there. The only way to get it a ways out there on the pier is by drifting a float or balloon, which takes forever, and depends on the wind direction and speed. This thing, you could just put your bait in the hatch, or drag your live bait behind it to get your rig out there.... It's just a bait delivery system.... The concept kicks ass, but $1200 seems a little steep... I think you can even get a depth/fishfinder for the damn thing that you can read from the remote....... I might be wrong about that, but I think I saw it in the accessories part of the site.... It's not a bad idea.

If there is a way you could make it troll with your bait, hang on to a big bull redfish at the surf, or any type of offshore fish that took the bait then you might not even need a boat and all of the cost...

except for the fact that Virginia would somehow make you pay some type of tax or registration on it somehow...

You can use this baby for trolling the surf just by steering it around. If you catch the big one, the line will detach and you reel in your catch. Pretty cool...pretty expensive. You might be able to use a regular RC motor boat to do the same thing.
