Best scallops ive ever had

My buddy scallops offshore and brought me 5 pounds of palm sized scallops. I started by slicing them into 5 pieces, next I literally pressed them into towels to get rid of all moisture. Then I lightly patted them w flour that had oldbay and a little lemon pepper. Meanwhile you heat up 2 tablespoons butter and a lil olive oil on a medium heat in a fryingpan. Threw those scallops in about four minutes on each side and then add some more old bay,fresh chopped garlic and a little green pepper and onion. Fry until they have a light brown appearance. Man these things are amazing, taste better than shrimp to me, nice crunchy exterior with a nice soft middle.
